The return of Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan, who missed the Tests in South Africa and returned home after the ODIs, is anticipated to return to the long format after a long absence following his absence from the series in South Africa and New Zealand. Abu Jayed has been kept in the practice game. They have not included him for the Test series because of his lack of pace, but they are hopeful that he can make a comeback sooner rather than later by correcting all of his flaws, BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin stated. Shadman has been mostly dropped as a result of his form.
