ICC Women’s World Cup 2022- An Overview
The ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 is all set to commence in New Zealand next month. The tournament will be held in six cities of New Zealand such as Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Wellington.
The tournament-opening match will take place at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, Tauranga on Friday, March 4. Meanwhile, the finale will take place at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on April 3. Team India will open their account with the arch-nemesis Pakistan on March 6 at Tauranga.

ICC Women’s World Cup 2022- Format
A total of 31 games will take place across 31 days, with 8 teams from around the world fighting for the World Cup trophy. Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, Dunedin, Tauranga, and Wellington will host the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 tournament.
England, Australia, South Africa, and India qualified for the event on the yardstick of their position in ICC Women’s Championships 2017-20. Meanwhile, New Zealand automatically qualified as they are hosting the tournament.
The ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 will be played in the league format. As eight teams will face each other once. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals at the end.
