The Brisbane Heat crushed the Adelaide Strikers in the 18th match of Big Bash Premier League 2021-22
After a convincing win from the Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat moves to the 4th spot of the BBL points table with two wins and 8 points in the back.
After losing a couple of matches in their early games, Brisbane Heat is back on track and the captain Jimmy Pearson is extremely happy with how they have played in the last round. The bowlers and the batters contributed and dominated the entire game against the Strikers.
Ducklett was the highest score in the match against the Strikers, pulled off some massive sixes and took the game from the opponent. Ducklett scored 78 off 47 balls with ten fours and two big sixes. He was playing at a strike rate of 165.96 and smashing all the Strikers bowlers all over the park.
The Adelaide Strikers were not convincing with the bat and the ball. Their bowlers conceded many runs, which led the opponents to set a high scoring target of 208 runs in 20 overs. Therefore the Strikers batters failed to score quick runs, with big blows and boundaries to chase down the total.
They are currently at the 5th sport of the BBL points table with four losses and only one wins.
