Bangladesh vs South Africa: Three ODIs and Two Tests Schedule

Bangladesh is all set to tour South Africa (Bangladesh vs South Africa) which consists of three ODIs and two Tests starting in March 2022. The tour will take place as a part of the One Day International Super League and the World test Championships respectively.

The One Day Internationals will commence on March 18 and the rest of the games will be played on the 20^th and 23^rd. The first and the third ODI will be held at SuperSport Park in Centurion, meanwhile, the second ODI will be conducted as a pink day match to raise awareness for breast cancer treatment. It will be at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.

Bangladesh vs South Africa – overview

South Africa is in the 10^th position with 39 points, with three wins in 10 games, meanwhile, Bangladesh is currently in the second position in the One Day International Super League with 80 points.

A Bangladesh vs Afghanistan series is ongoing and will end before they leave for the tour of South Africa.

After the Bangladesh vs South Africa series, the visitors will play their first Test in Durban, from March 31. Bangladesh will be appearing at the venue for the first time since 2003. They will play their second Test in St George’s Park in Gqeberha from April 8.

South Africa is currently in fourth place in the WTC points table after their 2-1 win over India. Bangladesh after their draw against New Zealand is in seventh place.
